Josep S. Blasi is a filmmaker and screenwriter born in Móra d’Ebre and trained at ESCAC (Screenwriting, class of 2006). His work explores the miracle of life through stories that combine emotional depth with a striking visual language. In his early years, he alternated scriptwriting with production work on feature films, commercials, and music videos.
As a storyteller, he moves seamlessly between advertising and cinema, crafting narratives that balance precision with imagination. He is the writer of Lo cantaba Nina Simone (2015), Blood Metal Revenge (2019), and the TV series L(ia) for TV3 (premiering in 2026). As a director, he has signed works such as the Circuit Festival commercial The Calling (2020), the short film Saurí (2024), the music video Icònica (2025) for Emil et il featuring Rigoberta Bandini, and the Magic Milk commercial (2025).
Across formats and genres, his work seeks to merge aesthetic excellence with human complexity, revealing the richness of existence and celebrating the beauty of the unknown.
